"I was told I was fighting a war that would end all wars, but that wasn't the case" (Strayer p981). WWI also known as the Great War was a war intended to prevent future wars from happening but instead, It made things worse. I don't think that a war is a solution to a problem but people back then did not think that way. However, I think the alliances were a great idea because they would defend each other in times of war.
The depression came after the war, this reminded me of the resection we had in the United States after the war in Iraq. The United States spent a lot of money in the war and the economy was really bad after. This happened after WWI and again in 2008 in the United states.

So, even though I don't believe that communism is a good thing, I like the idea of equality. Of course it is not equality when the people at the top have full power and the "working class" has no power and they are all living in poverty. However, Cuba for example, i've met people from there who are doctors and are practicing in Mexico. They have a really good education system apparently because they are very good at what they do. Of course that they cannot make as much money in their country as they are making in Mexico but I think Communism is not that bad.
